WAYKREST KENNELS have been involved with red and blue ACDS  since i was 17 yrs old and im very proud to have exported dogs Internationally, i have shown and bred numerous champions. I'm a  breeder that is committed to the betterment of the breed by using top winning quality bloodlines to produce show quality,work,guard or just family pets. I am situated 40 minutes from DALBY on rural acres where my ACDS still have the ability to guard and the instint to work my cattle and enjoy their daily routine.  Many ACDS that are bred nowdays have lost this trait and their working ability.

 Here at WAYKREST KENNELS i try to breed dogs for quality not quantity. I also have some old lost bloodlines from the past. By breeding to a programme i hope to keep and maintain consistent type of quality dogs.

I strive for great things in my dogs by using my gene pool to achieve; temperment, soundness, movement, type, balance, colour and most of all structurally sound dogs. My breeding programme revolves around dogs that are sound and clear of any major faults. Being a BREED JUDGE and a working dog person it is my obligation to breed and maintain a good type within any breed.My dogs are tested by Qld University for BAER hearing and it is a 4hr round trip for me making the journey very satisfying knowing my dogs and puppies have all "NORMAL HEARING" and PRA and PLL testing is done ASWELL. I am fully committed to my breeds and are hoping that my past and future clients, both here in Australia and Internationally are as happy as i am maintaining the future of these wonderful breeds.

Also i would like to thank all the people past and present that have guided me throughout the years and the knowledge that i have gained, these people are truly committed to the breed.
