Lara joined our family in 2006. We aquired her from a breeder in Geelong, Vic. So her first big trip in life was when she flew back to Sydney with us at the age of 8wks.

She immediately became best mates with Bailey, as well as all the other dogs in the area. In June 2008, she became a first time mum to 11 gorgeous black and chocolate puppies. She is a great mother who is always right there with her puppies keeping an eye on them.

Lara lives to play, and goes crazy over her red kong which she will continue to fetch until she's exhausted. She also enjoys heading down to the river where she continually swims backwards and forwards chasing toys.

Lara is a very intelligent labrador, she is keen to please and a quick learner. She has a beautiful temperament and is very gentle in everything she does. She has a tendency to melt your heart with her big brown eyes.
