Ceilidh Cockers

Ceilidh - (Kayli)n [Gaelic]

An Irish or Scottish social gathering with traditional music, dancing and storytelling

Breeding for type and temperament with the betterment of the breed at heart

Beveric Emma Leigh
"Emily"

Emily was the foundation bitch for Ceilidh Cocker Spaniels.

Sandy fell in love with Emily at the age of 9 days and it was our good fortune tht her breeder, Mrs Bev Turner, agreed to sell her to us. Emily had only very limited showing before commencing her maternal duties as Ceilidh's foundation bitch.
Emily's first 'husband' was Ch Lynwater Yule (Imp UK). Our judgement proved correct and the rest, you could say, is history.

We thank Bev for allowing Emily the opportunity to own us, Emily agrees that we are pretty easy to live with and a pleasure to own. And of course we thank Heather McDougal of Spanomac Cockers for allowing Bev to have this litter with Emily's mum, Vivien.

Sadly Emily was diagnosed with liver failure and with a heavy heart and many tears the decision was made to end her suffering. Emily went to the rainbow bridge on 13 December 2004, at the age of 11. See you there Em!

Our dear sweet Emily, you never had a point to your name but in our hearts and our eyes you will always be the
'Grandest Champion of all'
